About Healing Arts Barcelona

20-26 October 2025

Healing Arts Barcelona is the first city-level activation of the global Healing Arts & health movement in Spain. From October 20–26, 2025, this dynamic week-long initiative will unfold across Barcelona and Catalonia, led by the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), the Jameel Arts & Health Lab, and the World Health Organization, with support from the Generalitat de Catalunya and /Salut. This seven-day event brings together institutions and professionals across health, culture, and policy to foster collaboration and drive systemic change. Rooted in research and community engagement, it aims to improve physical, mental, and social well-being through the integration of the arts into care and public health strategies.

A day dedicated to the direct and practical experience of arts in health, bringing together mediators, creative therapists, artists, and professionals from both the health and cultural sectors.
