The project between the Ripoll Ethnographic Museum and the Fundació Map aims to foster active participation and full integration of people with special abilities. With an innovative approach, a unique collaboration has been established to train individuals supported by Fundació Map as museum guides. Through this initiative, members of the foundation become living transmitters of cultural heritage, sharing their perspectives and knowledge with museum visitors. “Vibrem” is a project by the Girona Provincial Council that provides music therapy support for children and families assisted by the Complex Chronic Care and Pediatric Palliative Support Team of Girona. One of the features that makes this project unique is that music therapy sessions take place in the families’ homes, making it easier for all members — parents and siblings alike — to participate.

The “A tocar” project is a series of concerts and workshops held in hospitals, penitentiary centres, and social-healthcare facilities in the Girona region. The aim of the project is to reach those who, temporarily or permanently, are deprived of the universal right of access to culture. By bringing music directly to people who do not have access to these experiences, the project provides opportunities for emotional development and well-being, fosters connections and empowerment, and helps improve the well-being and quality of life of participants.
