Healing Arts Barcelona 2025 – Terms and Conditions for Inclusion in the Programme

By submitting an activity or event for inclusion in the Healing Arts Barcelona 2025 programme (scheduled for October 20–26, 2025), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all participating individuals and entities and are legally binding.
1. General Agreement
By clicking “I Accept” or submitting information via our website, you declare that you are duly authorized to act on behalf of your organization (if applicable) and fully accept these terms.
This agreement does not establish any form of legal partnership or joint venture. Inclusion in the Healing Arts Barcelona 2025 programme does not imply any financial, legal, or operational responsibility on the part of Healing Arts Barcelona (Jameel Arts & Health Lab) or the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, which acts as the campaign coordinator.
2. Inclusion in the Programme
You agree that your activity or event (as described and detailed in the corresponding annex or list) may be included in public communications for Healing Arts Barcelona 2025, including the official website and other relevant promotional platforms.
3. Responsibilities of the Participant (Individual or Entity)
3.1 Visual Identity and Communication
- Explicitly credit Healing Arts Barcelona 2025 on all communication and promotional materials for the event, in both digital and print formats.
- Ensure that collaborators and venues also include the appropriate credit, following official guidelines and logos provided.
3.2 Media and Promotion
- Collaborate with press and promotional activities coordinated by the Healing Arts Barcelona 2025 team.
- Authorize the use of information about the activity or event for promotional purposes without the need for additional approval.
3.3 Sponsorship
- Inform Healing Arts Barcelona coordinators of any existing or planned sponsors or media partners.
- Ensure compatibility with the programme’s general sponsors or associated collaborators.
3.4 Guest Access
- For paid events, provide two complimentary tickets or entries for representatives of Healing Arts Barcelona 2025.
- For private or restricted events, allow access to up to two representatives from Healing Arts Barcelona 2025.
4. Legal and Operational Compliance
The participant (individual or entity) is solely responsible for all operational, legal, and financial aspects related to the activity or event, including but not limited to:
4.1 Risk Management and Safety
- Ensure a comprehensive risk assessment is completed and available upon request.
- Implement all relevant health and safety measures.
4.2 Protection of Vulnerable Individuals
- Where applicable, implement safeguarding measures for children and vulnerable adults, including obtaining background checks or equivalent certifications.
4.3 Public Liability Insurance
- Maintain a valid public liability insurance policy, if required by law.
4.4 Data Protection
- Manage personal data of collaborators, participants, and audiences in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant legislation.
4.5 Licences, Authorizations, and Permits
- Obtain and maintain all required rights, authorizations, and permits, including (but not limited to):
- Rights for exhibition or performance of the presented works.
- Public performance licences.
- Safeguarding documents for minors or vulnerable individuals.
- Provide supporting documentation upon request.
Healing Arts Barcelona 2025 coordinators do not assume any responsibility for missing licences, authorizations, or permits.
4.6 Financial Responsibility
- Bear all costs related to the organization of the activity or event (staff, materials, insurance, venue rental, etc.).
4.7 Content
- Ensure that the event’s content is not defamatory, does not promote illegal activity, and poses no risk of legal dispute or public disturbance.
5. Programme Coordinators’ Role
5.1 Promotional Campaign
A general communication campaign will be carried out to promote the full Healing Arts Barcelona 2025 programme, which may include:
- Inclusion of the activity or event on the official website and in other print or digital promotional materials.
- Media campaigns (press, TV, radio, and digital platforms) to generate national and international visibility.
- Daily media coverage during the programme week, including reports, interviews, or special publications.
- Social media mentions on the programme’s official channels and those of institutional partners.
- Possible inclusion in newsletters or bulletins aimed at professional and general audiences.
- Production of an institutional highlight video documenting key events, with content selected by programme coordinators.
- Creation and distribution of an official certificate and recognition document for participating individuals and entities.
- Opportunity to participate in follow-up or feedback sessions with institutional and professional visibility.
- Inclusion of selected activities in best-practice reports or public accountability documents issued by organizing institutions.
Note: Inclusion in any of the above promotional activities is not automatic or guaranteed. The organization will determine visibility based on editorial and technical criteria and the overall scope of the programme.
5.2 Privacy and Data Processing
Healing Arts Barcelona 2025 will manage data in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, available at:

By submitting your proposal, you confirm that you have read and understood the policy and accept the processing of your data as described.
6. Disclaimer
Healing Arts Barcelona 2025 and the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya do not assume any responsibility for the organization, execution, or outcomes of the submitted activity or event.
The participant (individual or entity) bears full responsibility for their actions and any legal, financial, or safety-related issues that may arise.
7. Applicable Legal Framework
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the city of Barcelona.
8. Amendments and Termination
The organization reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. In the case of substantial changes, notification will be provided.
Participation in the programme may be terminated or revoked if these terms are not fulfilled.
