Immerse Yourself in Sound: A Journey of Connection and Well-Being

Sunday 19 October 2025
11:00

Museu de la Mediterrània, Carrer d'Ullà, 31, 17257 Torroella de Montgrí, Girona, Spain.

Immerse yourself in a unique experience of connection and well-being with a sound bath. Through the harmonic vibrations of the monochord, voice, gong, drums, and other therapeutic instruments, we invite you to leave stress behind and enter a space of deep calm. Sound acts as a wordless guided meditation: simply lie down, breathe, and let yourself be carried by the frequencies that resonate with your body and mind. This ancient practice not only promotes relaxation but can also help balance the nervous system, improve sleep quality, and support emotional release. Whether you are already familiar with the benefits of sound or experiencing it for the first time, this journey offers a safe, welcoming, and mindful environment. This activity is part of the MUSEUMS AS SPACES OF WELL-BEING project, designed by six museums and five primary health areas in the Baix Empordà region. The initiative aims to highlight museums as spaces that contribute to public health and well-being, and to raise awareness of the importance of caring for our emotional well-being. During the weekend of 17–19 October, various activities will be held at the museums of Baix Empordà. These events are designed to empower people to prioritize self-care, offering activities across different disciplines related to art and emotions.
