Community Art and Social Transformation (h)Ovo is a community art project centered on women and people who menstruate who are experiencing the climacteric period. Developed from February to May with a group of women from the Pla de Palau neighborhood in Girona, the project explores the life transitions of bodies that are ceasing to menstruate. Through an artistic and participatory installation, (h)Ovo gives visibility to these often-silenced processes of change — transforming personal experiences into collective expression and reflection. The project was presented at the Inundar’t Festival, celebrating creativity, community, and the power of shared storytelling. Immerse yourself in a unique experience of connection and well-being with a sound bath. Through the harmonic vibrations of the monochord, voice, gong, drums, and other therapeutic instruments, we invite you to leave stress behind and enter a space of deep calm. Sound acts as a wordless guided meditation: simply lie down, breathe, and let yourself be carried by the frequencies that resonate with your body and mind. This ancient practice not only promotes relaxation but can also help balance the nervous system, improve sleep quality, and support emotional release. Whether you are already familiar with the benefits of sound or experiencing it for the first time, this journey offers a safe, welcoming, and mindful environment. This activity is part of the MUSEUMS AS SPACES OF WELL-BEING project, designed by six museums and five primary health areas in the Baix Empordà region. The initiative aims to highlight museums as spaces that contribute to public health and well-being, and to raise awareness of the importance of caring for our emotional well-being. During the weekend of 17–19 October, various activities will be held at the museums of Baix Empordà. These events are designed to empower people to prioritize self-care, offering activities across different disciplines related to art and emotions.

Hospitals i centres penitenciaris i sociosanitaris de les comarques gironines
The “A tocar” project is a series of concerts and workshops held in hospitals, penitentiary centres, and social-healthcare facilities in the Girona region. The aim of the project is to reach those who, temporarily or permanently, are deprived of the universal right of access to culture. By bringing music directly to people who do not have access to these experiences, the project provides opportunities for emotional development and well-being, fosters connections and empowerment, and helps improve the well-being and quality of life of participants.
