During the activity, new tangible materials for self-use will be presented, designed to promote interaction with the environment and make the experience more experiential, structured, and accessible. The materials are based on an interactive dossier that accompanies the tour and on various tactile stations distributed throughout the tour, which also act as decompression spaces to facilitate a more comfortable and inclusive experience.

The Tortosa Verge de la Cinta Hospital (HTVC) promotes reading as a tool for well-being and humanization through two initiatives aimed at inpatients and oncology patients. On one hand, the free library project on hospital floors, led by the Humanization Committee, offers patients books and magazines they can read during their stay. Users may take them home if they haven’t finished reading, or continue enjoying them at the hospital, accompanied by bookmarks designed by the ICS Terres de l’Ebre communications team. This initiative helps make hospital stays more pleasant, strengthens the connection with healthcare professionals, and encourages moments of distraction and entertainment.

Dive In and Contemplate: What Is Your Relationship with Nature? Join Ariadna Casas in this guided therapeutic activity, where we will practice forest therapy based on Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing), Mindfulness, and Qigong. This activity is part of the therapeutic proposals of the NIAT group (Inclusive Therapeutic Activities in Nature) of the Official College of Psychologists of Catalonia. During the session, Ariadna will guide you through Shinrin Yoku, helping you immerse yourself in nature, reconnect deeply with your senses, and reduce stress. We will also do Qigong exercises to activate body and mind, release tension, and promote a flow of positive energy. Additionally, we will practice the “Meditation of Admiration” or “Meditation of Surprise”, a technique that invites you to observe the natural world with fresh eyes, full of wonder and respect. On this “surprise walk” through the Poblet Forest, nature becomes our teacher, encouraging us to discover its wonders in every detail with curiosity and inner peace. The CAP El Temple in Tortosa promoted children’s oral health through Bibliodonto, an innovative project that combined health education and reading to encourage healthy habits among young people. The initiative featured a dedicated corner in the center’s waiting room where children could find stories and books about dental care and healthy eating. The materials, provided by the Marcel·lí Domingo Library, were renewed approximately every three months to offer fresh stories and educational resources. Through a playful and interactive approach, Bibliodonto sought to make oral health more accessible and engaging for children, fostering curiosity and awareness about the importance of caring for their mouths from an early age. In addition, the CAP set up two bibliotherapy areas in the waiting room, where users could read books in several languages and take them home, leaving another in exchange. This initiative promoted reading as a tool for relaxation, emotional well-being, and digital disconnection, providing moments of calm and reflection for visitors. With these initiatives, EAP Tortosa Est reaffirmed its commitment to comprehensive, compassionate, and community-oriented care, improving the experience of both professionals and users who passed through the center.

Creativity, movement, and connection for older adults Circ en Gran is a social circus project for older people that promotes health, autonomy, and social connection through the performing arts. From October to February, participants meet weekly in a safe and inclusive space to explore six creative disciplines — juggling, acrobatics, clowning, balancing, theatre, and percussion. The project goes beyond physical activity: it builds trust, cooperation, and collective creativity, enhancing mobility and coordination while strengthening social bonds. The journey concludes with a public performance, celebrating what participants have learned and created together — a joyful testament to community, creativity, and the power of lifelong learning. Circ en Gran shows that age is no barrier to play, imagination, or transformation.
