Monday, 20 October 2025 Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya
The MNAC will host the kickoff of a week full of events, featuring participation from political and institutional representatives, led by the Ministers of Culture and Health of the Government of Catalonia.
The opening day at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) sets the tone for a week dedicated to exploring the intersection of arts and health through collaboration, dialogue, and celebration.
In the afternoon, an official welcoming event features representatives from the Ministries of Health and Culture of the Government of Catalonia. The full week-long program is presented, including inaugural keynote speeches and an overview of the Arts in Health landscape in Catalonia.
The series builds on a 2019 WHO report that presented evidence on the role of the arts in improving health and well-being.
The evening features a concert by the Graeme Clark Youth Orchestra, joined by other groups engaged in community and arts in health initiatives, such as ESMUC and Mushkaa, showcasing the transformative power of music.
