The SMC presents the project “Culture Connects Us”, which aims to place culture at the center as a tool for social transformation and empowerment, framed within the mental health recovery model and the rights and citizenship framework. The presentation will be accompanied by one of the cultural experiences from an SMC entity: “Los Complejos”, a poetry group from CS Espai 3 in Cornellà del Llobregat. This group works on poetry and performance poetry in collaboration with Pabloswky, European Poetry Slam Champion.

Samba is much more than a dance: it's an explosion of rhythm, expression, and community that comes to us from the heart of Brazil, with African roots. Dancing samba is fun because it connects you with the music, makes your body move freely, and invites you to share your energy with others. It also improves physical fitness, reduces stress, strengthens social ties, and stimulates creativity. Led by: Vinicius Rosa, professor of the UVic-UCC Physiotherapy degree program, born in Brazil, with samba in his veins.
