Free activity, no
This activity offers a presentation of the Persianes Vives project in Barceloneta, a community art and health initiative developed collaboratively by artists, local shopkeepers, organizations, and professionals from the area. It is part of the Barcelona Salut als Barris community health strategy.
The project aims to improve the health and emotional well-being of participating youth through urban art, while also developing transversal skills that support their entry into the workforce. It is aimed at local young people aged 16 to 25 and is carried out in two phases: a first phase of training in artistic techniques and basic professional skills, and a second phase in which urban art murals are designed and painted on the shutters of local businesses participating in the project.
The activity will include a presentation of the project by some members of the core team, followed by a visit to the Mur Obert, where participants can observe the young people practicing with the artists.
