Industry professionals meet at Vall d'Hebron Hospital to discuss Art and Health.

The "Arts and Health" roundtable will bring together industry professionals within the framework of the International Congress on Health Communication , sponsored by the hospital and the European University Hospitals Alliance (EUHA). It will bring together leading international figures in the field of arts applied to health. Moderated by Guillem d'Efak Fullana-Ferré , Head of Community Action, Public Programs, and Communication at the MNAC, the session will explore the role of art as a therapeutic, emotional, and social tool.

Participants:

  • Louis Gustin : writer and speaker. After suffering a stroke and aphasia, he shares his experience with speaking engagements around the world and the graphic novel AVC.
  • Stephen Stapleton : Co-founder of Jameel Arts & Health Lab and founder of Culturunners, a driving force behind global initiatives that connect art, science, and public health policy.
  • Rachel Even : artistic director of Art dans la Cité, a pioneer in integrating contemporary art into hospitals and healthcare centres.
  • Laki Vazakas : Arts Specialist at Boston Children's Hospital, with extensive experience in arts programs for hospitalized children.
