A Drawing, Nature, and Health Project to Rediscover the Museum and Montjuïc
Self-Guided Material from MNAC
This self-guided notebook, designed for visitors of all ages, invites you to explore MNAC and Montjuïc Park through 10 drawing activities, both inside and outside the museum. The material encourages pauses for observing, breathing, and expressing yourself through drawing. By combining walking, artistic contemplation, and creativity, the activities promote well-being and offer a meaningful way to connect with art and nature—both in the museum galleries and in the surrounding green spaces.
About the Artist
Gemma París, collaborating with MNAC through Barcelona Dibuixa, invites visitors to explore the intersection of aesthetic resilience, interspecies relationships, and the natural world through drawing. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, museums, and art centers nationally and internationally. She has also collaborated with scientific teams to integrate art as a form of poetic and emotional research, imagining new ways of inhabiting and sharing the world.
Practical Information
The self-guided notebook is available free of charge at the museum ticket office during opening hours. Pencils, erasers, and drawing boards will be provided for comfortable sketching. Foldable chairs are available in the cloakroom for use during the activities.
