Their names escape us. Archive of nature drawn inside and outside the museum.

A proposal from Drawing, Nature and Health, to rediscover the museum and the surroundings of Montjuïc.

Autonomous material from the MNAC

This self-guided notebook aimed at people of all ages invites you to rediscover the MNAC and the Parc de Montjuïc through 10 drawing proposals inside and outside the museum . It is an accessible material that proposes different stops to observe, breathe and express yourself through drawing. The activity combines walking, artistic contemplation and creativity as tools to promote well-being. A way to connect with art and nature within the museum rooms and in the green spaces that surround it.

Gemma París , the artist collaborating with the MNAC within the framework of Barcelona Dibuixa, proposes to explore the intersection between aesthetic resilience, the relationships between species and the natural world through drawing. Her work has been presented in galleries, museums and art centers nationally and internationally, and she has collaborated with scientific teams to integrate art as a form of poetic and affective research, capable of imagining new ways of inhabiting and sharing the world.

The independent material can be obtained at the museum ticket office for free during museum opening hours. We will lend you pencils, erasers and a support so you can draw comfortably. Folding chairs are available in the cloakroom for this activity.
