Samba is much more than a dance: it's an explosion of rhythm, expression, and community that comes to us from the heart of Brazil, with African roots. Dancing samba is fun because it connects you with the music, makes your body move freely, and invites you to share your energy with others. It also improves physical fitness, reduces stress, strengthens social ties, and stimulates creativity. Led by: Vinicius Rosa, professor of the UVic-UCC Physiotherapy degree program, born in Brazil, with samba in his veins.
Saturday 25 October 10:00 - 13:00

By linking personal memory, creativity, and community support, the workshop seeks to foster integration, resilience, and collective dialogue around adoption and identity.
