Visits to day centers centered on the "Gotas Archive of the MMB" exhibition, featuring letters and correspondence from the museum. This common thread will evoke participants' correspondence, memories, and moments in their lives when letters have been important. This activity will encourage conversation and evoke memories. The activity is carried out with the guidance of a therapist from the AfAB (Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients). Mar & Memoria is a project of the Barcelona Maritime Museum aimed at people with Alzheimer's and their families. These activities are designed with special consideration for the effects derived from diseases such as Alzheimer's, which cause cognitive decline and behavioral disorders in patients. Prior work with professional therapists ensures that the visit is tailored to the needs of the group and is as comfortable as possible. Through objects from the collections, images, or content from the exhibitions, participants interact, encouraging them to express what evokes their memories and experiences. The October activities revolve around the exhibition "Gotas de archivo" (Drops from the Archive: The MMB's Epistolary Relationships with Other Museums Around the World). It focused on how writing and receiving letters has been a very important form of communication in our lives. Through these letters, we met people close to us who were far away and who opened the door to the world. The Barcelona Maritime Museum preserves extensive epistolary documentation that shows how it has been open to the world and has maintained relationships with museums around the world. We will explore the most interesting and unusual letters, while also recalling the letters and missives that have had the greatest impact on the participants.

The Sant Cugat Museum offers memory workshops aimed at improving the quality of life for people affected by neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s. Since 2018, the Museums of Sant Cugat, the Citizenship Area of the Sant Cugat City Council, and the Municipal Archive have been running the Photomemories project, in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Family Association of Vallès. This initiative, designed by ClicMe, Small Photographic Experiences, consists of memory workshops that use old photographs as a tool to stimulate the memory of people affected by mild to moderate neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Objectives: - Stimulate memory through photography as a gateway to personal recollections. - Promote language, communication, and social interaction. - Give a voice to affected individuals, helping them feel included in society. - Make culture accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities, and encourage enjoyment of it.

During Healing Arts Week, the Navarcles Library will exhibit murals on mental health and young people. This will be the result of the "Let's Talk About Mental Health" activity, aimed at students in 1st and 2nd year of secondary school and 3rd and 4th year of secondary school. The goal is to provide a space for young people to express themselves through meaningful words and phrases, photographs, drawings, and excerpts from song lyrics. Coinciding with the exhibition, a talk open to everyone on Mental Health and Young People will be held, and a display with related book recommendations will also be set up.

The exhibition "Narrated Body Maps in Chronic Pain: Unique Experiences, Collective Narrative" brings together works created by people with chronic pain who, using the technique of body mapping, have been able to capture their bodies at real scale and narrate their life stories, marked by pain. Narrated body maps are a tool that explores the experiences, experiences, and interactions of the individual with their environment from a unique and experiential perspective. Each body map is a unique visual narrative, the result of guided introspection, complemented by the stories of other participants, generating a collective narrative. This exhibition is the result of a project combining art therapy and research, developed in a primary care setting at the Larrard Primary Care Center of the Pere Virgili Health Park, within the Barcelona Primary and Community Care Research Group (APICBA), and in collaboration with the Social Determinants and Health Education Research Group. This is an initiative that merges art and health, offering a tool for expression, empowerment, and social awareness regarding a little-understood health issue.

We propose an open dance workshop facilitated by Pere Faura and the Sisme team. The activity invites you to experience movement as a space for play, intuition and connection with other people. Based on the flocking technique, we will work on dancing together as an experience of cooperation, listening and shared creation. The proposal is based on the idea that dance is not only an artistic expression, but also a tool for community health: it promotes body awareness, reduces stress and strengthens social bonds. In a world where individualism predominates, this workshop opens a space to feel part of a collective body where each person contributes to the common movement. The result is a lively choreographic experience that enhances emotional and relational well-being through the pleasure of dancing.
