Municipal Facilities Plaza Europa, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat
The intergenerational theater workshop consists of creating a safe and free space where older adults connect through performing arts with neighborhood children and young people associated with an educational center. It is a project with a three-fold objective: to open the school to the neighborhood, connecting older adults and students who share the same area; to enable older adults to work on their memory and share their experiences with students through recreational and creative activities; and to promote physical exercise and creative expression through the movement of older adults.

Tuesday 21 October 19.30 - 21.00
Creative Earthquake, Barcelona
We propose an open dance workshop facilitated by Pere Faura and the Sisme team. The activity invites you to experience movement as a space for play, intuition and connection with other people. Based on the flocking technique, we will work on dancing together as an experience of cooperation, listening and shared creation. The proposal is based on the idea that dance is not only an artistic expression, but also a tool for community health: it promotes body awareness, reduces stress and strengthens social bonds. In a world where individualism predominates, this workshop opens a space to feel part of a collective body where each person contributes to the common movement. The result is a lively choreographic experience that enhances emotional and relational well-being through the pleasure of dancing.

Artemisa BCN, Barcelona
Dance performance/workshop for adults. "Dance helps me feel better and forget the voices in my head, music allows me to connect with others, and the group helps me not feel alone. For a moment, I forget my illness; for a moment, I become human again. For a few hours, I remember that I can do it too, that I am capable of doing something, and that I can remember steps, sequences, and music. For a moment, I am enveloped in Love, Hope, and Trust, and I am no longer that person ostracized by society. I can be myself, forgetting my illness for a moment."

Hall of the Catalan Health Institute (ICS), Barcelona
This participatory workshop uses dance and creative movement as tools to place well-being at the center, with a focus on enhancing the emotional and physical health of ICS professionals, other healthcare workers, and the adult population. Dance is Health! invites participants to set aside gender roles and stereotypes, focusing instead on what each body needs to express, share, and coexist in a more inclusive and respectful way. In dance, there is no judgment, no error — only creativity and the opportunity to reconnect with the body in a sensory, expressive, and playful way, beyond analytical thinking. The workshop will be held in the main hall of the Catalan Health Institute (Barcelona) and led by Sílvia Cepero Domínguez, professional dancer, facilitator, and founder of the contemporary dance company El Desvío. ICS and El Desvío previously collaborated on the pilot arts-in-health project “Dance and Emotional Support in Situations of Gender Violence”, which engaged female ICS professionals in the first half of 2025
